As the Chief Product Officer of LexShift, Shirley Qin assembles people and product to deliver creative solutions that solve real problems. With over a decade working internationally in supply chain management, manufacturing and sourcing a wide variety of goods from helicopters to ice cream, she brings cross-disciplinary approaches and strong Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement principles to transform technology teams. From a frequent user of enterprise applications to a cognizant maker, she is dedicated to building technology that alleviates rather than adds to everyday work in the legal space.
When not on the computer, Shirley enjoys spending time in nature with family and friends. One of her greatest passions is guiding others through the underwater world as a licensed Divemaster (scuba diving). If you’re on her dive boat, you’ll find that she has a particular love for spotting weird sea creatures, from frogfish to wobbegongs, or simply floating in the blue, reveling in the mysteries of the ocean.
Outside the water, Shirley has become a bit of a linguistics nerd, currently learning sign language (ASL and BSL), while maintaining a couple other spoken languages at any one time. Though not active, Shirley is also a licensed yoga and qigong instructor, mostly sharing this practice with family.
These days, Shirley can be found in the mountains with her partner and two cats.
